Angel Guidance via email

1950s secretary using typewriterRecently, I have been doing a lot of channelled guidance via email……you just email me a question and I tune in and ask the angels to dictate the answer.  It seems to be working very well, and I have had a number of lovely testimonials.  A great way to get guidance for one burning issue without having to make an appointment and come and see me! Help! I totally freak out about being late for things!!!

freak-outI totally freak out if I think I am going to be late for something. Especially if it is an important meeting, someplace I really have to be, like for instance a class that I am teaching, or a meeting with a client.

And I really, really, really freak out if I actually AM late! I do mean really! Almost give myself a heart attack. In fact I think I was hyperventilating last week when I was nearly a minute late to teach my yoga class, I practically collapsed with the stress. And I am a YOGA TEACHER!!!!!

So what is going on?

And more importantly, what can I do?

I asked the angels for advice!

A

This is a wonderful question! Because we are aware that many, many, many humans are suffering as a result of this problem. Some of you worry so much about the prospect of being late and try so very hard to control the timing around your ‘important’ meetings that you may find yourselves neglecting the most important meeting of all. That meeting between you and yourself. You may have noticed that the inner dialogue that happens when you think you will be late, are worrying about being late and are actually late can be extremely distressing? Perhaps even more distressing than the outer dialogue that happens if you are late for something?

Me

Yes, I totally freak myself out!

A

At the heart of what is happening is that the heart is not engaged, the heart is being discounted and possibly ignored in these situations. That is to say, you are not concerned with how much you are freaking yourself out, you are far more concerned with the possible outcome and how you can control it.

Your own feelings become secondary, less important than the business at hand. And there is a price to pay for this, as you can see.

Me

I can totally see that I upset myself and possibly even risk damaging myself when I am late for something but I don’t know what to do about it.

A

It may be that you do not feel that you will be safe if you are late for an event?

Me

Yes, that is often the case. If I am late for my own yoga class I am afraid that the students will disappear and stop coming and or tell all their friends that I am rubbish! And the same thing happens if I am late for a client meeting. I am afraid that my world will end!

A

You are afraid that you will not be forgiven, that you will not be supported?

Me

Yes. I fear that there will be no leeway, no understanding, no compassion, no forgiveness, no money!

A

May we ask a question?

Me

You may.

A

If you were the person at the other end, the recipient of the ‘lateness’ would you forgive someone ?

Me

Of course! Especially if I knew that they were very freaked out about being late and if I knew that they were generally on time or early.

A

And so you demand a higher and more exacting standard of yourself than you are giving to others?

Me

Yes, I suppose that is true.

A

Why do you suppose this is?

Me

I don’t know. I think I feel the need to be more exacting than other people, I think that I need to try harder, work harder, do more, be more.

A

What might happen if you did not try harder and work harder and be more than other people?

Me

I might fail. I might not get what I need in life.

A

Do you believe in a loving Universe?

Me

I don’t know. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t.

A

Do you believe that you can change what you magnetise and create by changing your vibration?

Me

Yes. I definitely believe that because I have noticed it happening most of the time.

A

And so, do you believe that it is helpful to treat yourself in a manner which is harsh, unforgiving and exacting, if this creates a state of distress?

Me

No, it is probably not helpful!

A

What might you do differently, in order to create a loving and supportive vibration?buddha

Me

I would need to talk to myself differently in situations where I am stressed. I would need to tell myself that I am ok even if I am late!

A

How does it feel to think of being okay, even if you are late?

Me

Gosh! It feels like an enormous weight off my shoulders! It feels like a huge relief!

A

What might you say to yourself the next time that you are running late for a meeting or event that you think is important?

Me

I could say to myself that I am doing my best and that I am going to be fine and I am going to be forgiven and the world will not end and I will survive and I will get there eventually!

A

How do you think it will feel to be able to tell yourself this? How will this be different to the way that you had been freaking yourself out?

Me

I think that maybe if I am not so scared to be late I might get less flustered and actually things might be smoother and easier in general and I might be able to trust my intuition more. I also think that I will be able to trust myself more, in that I wont be afraid of myself. I might feel better, if I am nicer to myself in these situations!

A

How will that help you to create a more loving vibration?

Me

I will feel compassion for myself and therefore i will feel loved

A

And what might be the result of that?

Me

I will feel more loved and supported and generally happier!

Slowwwga – What’s it all about?

The Art and Design of KeithMikeTom

What is Slowwwga?

slowwwgaThis Wednesday, I had the chance to try out slowwwga, in INIT Yoga studios, in Ringsend. Slowwwga is a type of yoga devised by Victoria Mary Clarke. Victoria says herself, that she finds meditation and relaxation hard sometimes, because she may think of random things, like shopping or eating cake. She is not unique in this assessment, as the majority of participants in the class also were of this opinion. Slowwwga is relaxing, and unlike other types of yoga, you end up getting all the yogic benefits of the stretches (sans the ashtangi body), without going through major pain – Victoria insists that you only go to where you are comfortable, and find which way is right for you. Slowwwga is really beneficial to anyone who sits at a desk, or over a computer all day, which most of us do nowadays.

Angel In Disguise Chapter One

I have signed copies for sale in my shop!

VictoriaMaryClarke

bookChapter One: MEETING THE ANGELS.

One day, one particular day, I was feeling miserable.  Very, very miserable.  Alone and broke, fat and nearly forty, (well thirty six, actually, but close enough to the big Four O to be miserable about it), I hadn’t been able to summon up the enthusiasm to get out of bed that day, except to go to the loo.  This wasn’t unusual, much of my life had been spent in bed, but it was worrying, nonetheless.  I had whiled away the hours by alternating between dozing and daydreaming about a better life and occasionally with bouts of sobbing.  There were books to read, of course.  But I had forbidden myself to lie in bed reading, when there were more important things that needed doing.

Media Coaching

Media coaching to help you to use the media as a free resource for selling your stuff effectively, fearlessly and with charisma!

Victoria Mary Clarke - Journalism

After almost 25 years interviewing people for newspapers, magazines and radio, as well as researching documentaries for TV,  I have discovered two things.

1.  Everybody has a story!  And everyone is interesting.

2.  Most people get nervous/anxious/agitated/panicked/sweaty  at the thought of being interviewed!simon-cowell

I LOVE to interview people about what they do, I LOVE to help them feel happy about the experience, and I especially love to interview people who have set up their own business, doing something that they LOVE and are offering something to the world that can benefit other people.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to talk to all kinds of amazing, fascinating, entertaining and wondrous people….
